Dixie and Dragons

This is a birthday picture I made for my good friend .

He and I both have passion projects we are working on right now. One I am working on is a huge fan comic that'll take me a while to make.

His is a dream project of making a movie involving the Civil War and Dragons. We have after all the book about Abe Lincoln being a vampire hunter. In 's version the union and the Confederacy enlist dragons to fight the Civil War for them.

I believe there was a book where during the Napoleanic Wars dragons were used as well. In this version the Union uses dragons from Europe while the Confederacy uses Chinese dragons. They at first see them as beasts of burden but soon realize that these dragons are like mercenaries and expect to be rewarded.

I drew a scene from the desk of a Civil War captain (most likely) on the side of the Union. A letter, ink pen, ink bottle and a watch is on his desk. Along with the main highlight; a picture of his cavalry and one of the European Dragons they have fighting on their side.

I hope you like it dude. I wish you much luck on your project. It sounds very interesting; and I do hope you like this idea I came up with.
