Favorite Animal Characters by Species

What a great way to show off some of my all time favorite characters from both television, games and film.

Some of them are pretty specific too I see.

For Dog: Agent Dudley Puppy from TUFF Puppy; looking like he's introducing his feline partner. (Which leads to...)
For Cat: Agent Kitty Katswell, looking both cunning and sexy like she always does.
For Bird: Lord Shen from Kung Fu Panda 2. One of the best villains in animated film; and a huge step up from the previous one from the first film. (Sorry Tai Lung fans.)
For Raccoon: Unquestionably, the dashing and charismatic thief Sly Cooper!! Wish he was in more games.
For Turtle: Followed up by Sly's friend and brains; Bentley. This little guy's overcome all sorts of odds and hardships through the use of his intellect. Very admirable.
For Wolf: Amaterusu from Okami. Fun game with a great design. Classified from Madagascar was going to fill this position; but sadly he wasn't as good as I thought he'd be.
For Fox: Inspector Carmelita Montoya Fox from Sly Cooper. It looks like she's looking straight at the viewer as if saying; "Why are you looking at this? Don't you have something better to do...like arrest criminals, go salsa dancing....look at art...and...and....arrest criminals!?"
For Lion: Zira from Lion King 2. She made the movie/sequel. Such a great animation model for purposely menacing looking villainesses.
For Tiger: Master Tigress from Kung Fu Panda. She may be cold but she's gotta good heart. She may be tough but she's gotta soft spot for those she cares about. Great female character all around.
For Otter: I don't know many otter characters so I picked Dean Wilson from Animalympics. Surfer hippie otter dude. XD
For Kangaroo: Don't know many kangaroo characters either. So I chose the archconservative marsupial Jane Kangaroo and her son Joey from Horton Hears a Who. Don't let her antagonistic nature fool you; she and her son were some of the best characters from that movie that I both love and hate.
For Dragon: Had to be toothless from How to Train Your Dragon. He's the bestest dragon friend you can ever have; and he's just full of surprises.
For Bear: Po from Kung Fu Panda. Sure in the first movie he used his fat to beat Tai Lung. But in the sequel he really had to get his shit together to beat Lord Shen. All the more reason the sequel is better and is one of my all time favorite animated films.
For Reptile: Rango from the movie of the same name. Voiced by Johnny Depp; this thesbian reptile pays tribute to the spaghetti westerns; one of my all-time favorite movie genres.
For Rodent: Gadget Hackwrench from Rescue Rangers. You know I wonder if any of the team tried dating her. It's been a while since I saw this; but I liked both her bubbly personality and the fact she's also a genius.
Unique Species: The lombax; specifically Ratchet from Ratchet and Clank. Either they went extinct or are hiding out in another dimension. Hell I know me and many other fans made a ton of lombax characters; and dammit we're gonna use em. XD
Wild Card 1: Bunnie Rabbot from the Sonic Universe. Officially my favorite Sonic character due to her accent, he looks, her awesome powers, and the fact she's the reason Antoine grew some cajones in the comics. ;D
Wild Card 2: Coco Bandicoot from the Crash Bandicoot series. Like Gadget she's bit bubbly but also a real genius. Probably a bit more mature than Gadget but same type of enthusiasm nonetheless. A stark contrast to her brother Crash in terms of intelligence; which I think is rather cute. XD
Wild Card 3: Rattlesnake Jake from Rango. While I picked Rango for reptile; Jake had to be among my favorite characters in that film due to design and presence. Though how does he slide with those bullets?
Wild Card 4: Tammy from TUFF Puppy. A very cute rabbit design; but she is definitely no wallflower. Right next to Kitty as my favorite female from the show.
