Share the Warmth

So if we were to get Dudley and Kitty in a situation where they are almost ready at most to start exploring their feelings towards each other: the two of them need to be absolutely alone and resting after being in some sort of predicament.

Hence this scene. After the duo blew up Snaptrap's underwater nuclear facility, the explosion damaged Kitty and Dudley's sub. The two luckily found a nearby underwater cave where they submerged and were able to crawl inside to dry off.
Unfortunately their communication equipment got destroyed in the sub. However, Kitty knew TUFF would eventually look for her and Dudley very soon: the next day at most. There was no way HQ would assume them obliterated without searching for them first.
In the meantime, they get a fire going and Kitty even manages to use her cat-like skills to scoop some fish out for them to eat.
Even with the fire, the cave did get pretty cold. Kitty's wet fur was slowly drying off but she needed extra warmth.
So this scene where she is nuzzling up to Dudley and Dudley's like "WTH are ya doin'?"
Look closely. You can almost hear Kitty purring. X-3

What happens beyond this point is left to your imagination. But eventually they do get found; and what results after this when TUFF picks them up...well..who knows. It's a DudleyxKitty pic obviously. You could assume a little romance went on between these two. How far..I dunno.

BTW: Suppose TUFF HQ didn't search for them. They probably would want this moment anyway. And eventually they'd find their way back; and be pretty peeved HQ just assumed them dead. XD But you know cartoon logic: a search party would find em anyway.

Obviously dudley and Kitty are in their swim wear. You don't dry off with wet clothes on; and they obviously couldn't be naked. ;-3 So this was a better bet for them.
