This is my last journal for the year. You'll see a new one once 2010 hits and I ring in the New Year.

So today's Christmas Eve will be spent a little differently. I'm afraid I had to work all day at both my jobs. I won't get home until 8:30 pm tonight. So I missed one family outing.

The good thing is: I got all my Christmas pics done and brought cheer and good will to all my friends here at DA. So that itself makes me feel good. =-3 It's not so bad working. At least I won't have to do it tomorrow. XD

Well anyways I'll be celebrating it with the family tomorrow. You won't know what I got until New Year's when I do a recap of the whole year. Our Christmas this year is a small but eventful one for our family. It'll be the right way to say goodbye to 2009; as well as goodbye to a few people I knew very closely who I had to say goodbye to.

But there is one thing you'll see before the New Year's. I actually am creating one last picture for 2009. It's not a new piece of work but rather: it's a recollection of a decade's worth of my work. I realize that with the end of 2009; comes the end of a decade. From ages 16-26 I have seen and experienced so much in my life that it made the previous 16 years prior to the decade look like filler. This past decade really had me explore my niche as an artist and I will be collecting old works and new works and put it together in one compilation I call 'Shinragod: A decade in Art.'

It's almost liek a MEME but it really isn't. It's a piece where I mark off the years from 1999-2009 that I spent as an artist. You'll find that my art wasn't digital; you'll find I didn't get introduced to DA till 2002; you'll find me studying various techniques; and much more.

Those of you here at DA probably don't know me long enough to know what my work was like before I came here. Well now is the time to start. After Christmas I am gathering all work from 1999 to the present and put it together to recap a decade's worth of work and see how far I came...and where I will go next to make it better.

Well it's the beginning of Christmas week. This Friday I will enjoy another time with my family. See I hosted my first party this past Saturday. It was a huge success and everyone had fun! we went on a boat piloted by my landlord and watched the Boat Parade while having quite a few drinks. It was lots of fun.

This Boat Parade is the basis for my DA Holiday Pic. As I said; there are a select few being chosen to be a part of this piece. To make sure that no close friend of mine goes missing in action so to say; speak now before I Begin the piece. And it would really REALLY help me out a lot too if you have a character to provide me with to represent you.

While I wait for your response; I have another holiday piece I am working on. It's a short Christmas story featuring my version of a young Alister Azimuth. He learns the true meaning of Christmas while remaining in the holiday spirit. You will either find it heart warming, uplifting and perhaps even a bit tear-inducing...or you will find it corny and about as poignant as 'The Star Wars Holiday special.' XD

So that's what going on for me art-wise this Christmas Week. As for me; I gotta work some long shifts these next four days before enjoying my two day Christmas Holiday away from work.

I got my shopping done and am ready to celebrate christmas with my family at my old home where I used to live. Afterwards everything will be normal: don't have major plans for New Year's.

But that's what's going on. Merry christmas to all!! See you very soon; and see you in 2010 too!

Well I know I went on on how 'Recalling Fastoon' will be done by the first day of 2010.

It won't. =-p I'm not even halfway done with it. And for the restof December, the updates to it won't be as numerous.

I have my reasons:

A.) I got a more important project to get to. My Christmas Picture for everyone here who I am very close friends with. This is a higher priority and I want to show my gratitude for my best friends here on DA and I just feel in the holiday spirit right now.

B.)My work schedule really drains my energy. I work two jobs a Monday - Thursday from 9-8pm. At the end of the day "I sometimes really don't feel like coloring each panel, writing the text or drawing the characters.

C.) If I rush throuhg it the final weeks of December it'll look like shit. You might tell from my updates that the quality went down a bit. Sorry about that. ?It's best to get it done right rather than get it done now.

D.) I got other ideas I need to get to.

(Warning for the next reason.)

E.) I hate to type this one in, and it's going to sound mean and selfish; and perhaps even a bit cynical and mean-spirited. But I just gotta say it: I'm actually a little dissapointed by the turn-out for it.
Don't get me wrong I can't expect everyone to comment on it. I know a few good friends of mine who also have projects of their own they are very busy on and have no time to read it: that's fine.
It's the comments I am recieving on the recent pages I am getting. No offense...but they're not that great.
I get better comments and faves on single pictures that don't involve me busting a nut like my comic pages.

But does this mean I call it quits? NOPE!! I still wanna finish it. Just..not now. I got other things I need to attend to. Recalling Fastoon is not that important right now and I listed my reasons for shelving it for a while; with a nupdate here and there.

Don't let my journal get you down. I still want all of you to have a Merry christmas and I still treasure all of you dearly with your friendship! =-D

EDIT: The suit will be modified for FA United 3 next May 2010. Since the theme for the FA United is game related, I will be adding clothes to the character and have him dress as Sly Cooper. I will make the cane too. ;-3

After months of make and prep from England fursuiter Tamaska; I am pleased to announce that this afternoon; I glimpsed at photos of the now finished Chris Fuzz partial fursuit.

You will see shots of the pieces; but just not me in the suit yet.

My suit won't arrive till January. So in the meantime; enjoy these photos!

He'll have brighter ones for me sometime soon. For now though; enjoy the now ready to go Chris Fuzz fursuit!! =-D
