Description

Based of the meme: [link] created by :icontoongrowner:

This list consists of work I was personally proud of. A majority of it (if not all of it( was created between 2009 and the present. So if none of my older artwork shows up consider this my new age of artistry.

I'll explain each one and why I chose it.

#10. DEMONGO THE VAMPIRE SAVIOR
Original: [link]
- This was made for a contest featuring minor Samurai Jack villain Demongo. The objective was to dress him up for Halloween. I dressed him up as Jedah from Darkstalkers. Not only did I win 1st place but I also enjoyed the feedback the fans gave on how spiffy his outfit looked: skull buttons and all.

#9. MAI EEK!
Original: [link]
- I make a lot of sexually attractive female anthro characters: and they become quite popular. Before I made Lady Malmsteen my new diva I had my Sly Cooper OC Mai Ling. This is one of my better nudes of her showing off her curves without showing everything: and doing it in a playful and cute manner. I'm one of those artists who for the most part likes to make his nudes tasteful and charming.

#8. TUFFSTALKERS
Original: [link]
- It's no secret how many TUFF Puppy fans have come to know and like my work. They have even elevated my OC Lady Malmsteen to celebrity status. Halloween came and went. The previous year an artist drew Kitty Katswell as Felicia from Darkstalkers. I finished the female duo with my own OC Lady Malmsteen as Morrigan. Dudley in the BG is a very scruffy Talbain. I liked it for the poses, the lighting and how the pic conveyed so much character. Also: Darkstalkers is just a perfect subject for me to do crossovers on if you haven't noticed. ;D

#7. ELEVEN SUPERNOVAS TRIBUTE
Original: [link]
- I rarely do group pics due to their complexity. I also rarely do One Piece pics. But for every subject I take an interest in I make sure to make at least one pic that is extremely detailed and proper enough to pay tribute to it. Enter the Eleven Supernovas from One Piece. Having them in different poses and conveying their mannerisms in their own ways is what helps all of them stick out. Guys like Luffy, Law and Kidd are easily recognizable. It's for the lesser knowns like Urage and Apoo that they needed other character attributes to make them stick out. Group pics help my organizational and character placement skills. The whole mass forms a shape to indicate a cluster of color and form.

#6. DOES THIS MAKE YOU HAPPY?
Original: [link]
- Kung Fu Panda and its sequel are among my all time favorite animated films. I do a little art of it and when I do: I make sure they turn out extra special and detailed. I remember watching 'Secrets of the Furious Five' and how I enjoyed Viper's dad's design. I drew her as a little snake dancing to cheer her father up. The textures and smoothness of their skin as well as the motion and line movement made this a personal favorite of mine. And just the fact Gran Master Viper looks so cool with those eyebrows!! My Kung fu Panda art is slim: but the quality I put into it is what counts.

#5. THE TRIO OF TERROR
Original: [link]
- 2011 was one of the best years for animated films. Two of those personal favorites of mine being Rango and Kung Fu Panda 2. I also liked Rio. So I included the two most terrifying characters from those films in the picture. All three banded together to form 'The Trio of Terror.' Rattlesnake Jake from Rango I was particularly proud of: what with all the detail gone into making all those scales. Not easy at all when dealing with rattlesnakes. And then there are the elaborate feathers of Lord Shen from Kung Fu Panda 2. Peacock patterns can be complex and making sure his white feathers didn't blend in with Nigel from Rio was an extra task at hand. What resulted was one of my most detailed and fully rendered pieces yet.

#4. MAI THAI
Original: [link]
- I was heavy into Street Fighter when making this. My Sly Cooper OC Mai Ling is a very fluent martial artist. So here she is in Thailand learning Muay Thai. And doing pretty good at it too. Her trainer is none other than: a tiger version of Sagat. TIGER! The cameo was one thing. But assing all that aura of power surrounding her as she smashed that board with her foot was another. Mai still remaind one of my most dynamic characters to draw. One thing I am working on is how her tail can follow her line of movement. Her simple design, hair style and color schemes makes her a fun subject for me.

#3. RID MY CASTLE OF THESE PESTS
Original: [link]
- I have made TONS of TUFF Puppy artwork. And this by far is probably still my best. It features three crossovers: technically. TUFF Puppy, Danny Phantom, and a reference to a boss battle from Castlevania: Symphony of the Night.. These three sources help me draw inspiration for both design and character. And I loved the result. Particularlly how the three villains from Danny Phantom look and how ready dudley and Kitty are to face them. In the BG is all the reoccuring TUFF villains and a few side ones. In the center is my OC Lady Malmsteen looking wickedly down as her unwilling gladiators face their doom. On the left are some of her subjects. A very fun pic and I consider it still my best TUFF work.

#2. I SURRENDER
Original: [link]
- Requested from a close friend of mine: this was something he wanted to see done. Having a Roman emperor German Shepard surrender to Lord Shen. Like I said: Kung Fu Panda pics from me are few; but I make sure as they are my favorite films that they are extra special and extra detailed. Just the detail on the Shepard's fur alone shows how much time I put into it. And the detail on Shen's feathers and garb. Then came the lighting. It took a while to get the natural warmth and feel of a city on fire. After much trial and error I think I finally succeeded presenting my most mood intensive pic yet. Color filters help convey a sense of mood when applied correctly. And all the bright oranges and reds helped give out a fiery warmth in this chaos of color.

#1. GODZILLA TRIBUTE
Original: [link]
- This is by far my most successful and viewed/downloaded piece. Character Tributes are fun but time consuming to make. Godzilla and his foes were not easy to recreate in my own style. But what was accomplished has made this easily one of my most popular pieces. A Godzilla fanboys delight. Three versions of Godzilla and even the New York one. Then there the foes: Gedorah, Mothra, DESTROYAH!, and even the Smog Monster. DESTROYAH! in particular is my fave because of the insane amount of detail I put on him. Always give your favfes the best detail. ;D I do plan on making more Character tributes when the subject I find is perfect for it. I am currently making and finishing another one so I hope it all works out. Until then: this one is among my best tributes as well as my best pieces overall. It shows how much detail I can put into one single pic.
